Bob had lived for several hundred years in a castle on the outskirts of Whitby. He often missed the time before he became a vampire, when he lived as a human.
One day, the human government agreed to allow vampires and humans to live together peacefully and introduced new laws. As long as vampires followed these rules, they could become official vampire citizens.
Bob was extremely excited when he heard the news. He immediately sold his castle and packed his belongings. He decided to move to Edinburgh and even bought an apartment there in advance, ready to begin a new life.
